I got the 18 inch body wave knowing that I was going to be dying it then cutting a lot of length off. I always buy my hair a lot longer than I I want it because I like the hair to be thick throughout the length. In the photos you can see that the hair is about 19 inches long but

starts getting thin around 13. This is fairly normal at this price of hair. If you're using these for length I would recommend measuring how long you want your to be then adding about 5 inches just so youcan cut off those straggly ends and still have the length you desire.
